Kate has been training me for almost 15 years now! She is a gifted trainer.  I especially like how she is mindful of the aging body. She has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of exercise physiology and nutrition. At the start of session she always asks if there are injuries or physical concerns she should be aware of and  adapts sessions accordingly.  Her workouts are designed to progress in difficulty over 4 to 6 weeks, and then change focus to concentrate on a new strength or skill. Her attention to potential injuries while building physical strength means I have never been injured in all the years I have worked with her.  Her programs are fun and varied and take place in a myriad of settings. You never get bored. With her training and encouragement, I have gone from someone who wanted to get in shape to a focused and knowledgeable senior athlete.  With her encouragement, I now set personal goals and challenges for myself. I am comfortable on a track, yoga mat, gym, mountainside, or road race all thanks to her. For a senior or someone advancing through middle age you could not ask for a better trainer. She’s crap at swimming though.'  Mary
